According to UATV: On June 6, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Zaporizhzhia, killing two men and wounding seven others, including two children. The morning strike caused severe damage to local critical and industrial infrastructure, heightening risks for residents already enduring the ongoing conflict.

Ivan Fedorov reported that

“the bodies of two men who had lost contact after the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia were found.”
Among the wounded are five women and two children: a 3-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration confirmed that
“there are now seven injured, including two children. Medical assistance was needed by five women and two children—a 3-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy.”

Aftermath of the Strike

The attack sparked a fire at a parking lot near an apartment building, alarming local residents. Oleksandr Pshenichny described the situation, stating:

“It’s an ominous morning. Neighbors struck us with a 'Shahed.' People are hurt, and now they face this morning without windows.”

In response, an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council has been scheduled for June 8. This strike adds another tragic chapter to the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine, underscoring the persistent threat to civilian life and infrastructure.
