Ukraine is ready to assist Israel in combating forest fires.

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that Ukraine is ready to assist Israel in combating forest fires by providing them with special equipment and rescuers. He sent the proposal for assistance to the Israeli side.

Earlier, it was reported that the police evacuated the cities of Eshtaol and Mesilat Zion due to fires caused by bad weather. The forest fires are spreading rapidly due to high temperatures and strong winds. In connection with this, the police closed Route 38 leading to Jerusalem.

The second fire approached the main highway and forced the police to close the road. This led to deteriorating air quality and the evacuation of residents.
