Ukraine can export veterinary products worth $1.5 billion a year - Minister.
The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitaliy Koval, stated that the veterinary products industry has significant export potential of over $1.5 billion per year. He shared this information during a meeting with representatives of the Association of Manufacturers and Distributors of Veterinary Products and Feed Additives.
'We talked about the main issue - how to bring the industry to a new level. Among the key topics were: the implementation of European requirements in the production of veterinary products, adaptation of legislation, and quality control of products. He emphasized that Euro-integration should not devalue what is Ukrainian.'
Koval expressed confidence that Ukraine has a strong export future in the production of veterinary products, thanks to reliable expertise, innovations, and entrepreneurship. The issue of unregistered vaccines was also discussed, with the intention to introduce fines for violations in this area being announced.
