Ukraine is not a testing ground: Zelensky urged partners to strengthen air defense due to massive attacks.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported on social media that Russia carried out large-scale attacks on the territory of Ukraine during the past week. The enemy used about 800 guided aerial bombs, 460 strike drones, and more than 20 missiles of various types.
On the night of November 24, the occupiers attacked Ukraine using 'Shahed' type drones and unidentified drones launched from the Oryol and Bryansk regions. According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 73 enemy drones were detected.
Air defense systems successfully destroyed 50 drones over Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Zhytomyr regions. The enemy lost another 19 drones due to the active operations of electronic warfare means from the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
'Ukraine is not a testing ground for weaponry. Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state,' emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky, adding that the country urgently needs more air defense systems.
