EU has transferred 3 billion euros to Ukraine: what the funds will be used for.
The European Council has approved the next payment from the Ukraine Facility for Ukraine, which amounts to over 3 billion euros.

Yulia Svyrydenkoannounced on Telegram on August 8 that the EU Council has approved the provision of 3.056 billion euros to Ukraine from the Ukraine Facility.
'This is a strong signal of trust in our reform agenda and ability to ensure stability even in the toughest times. We are grateful to the Danish presidency for its clear support. Every such decision brings us closer to a strong Ukraine in a united Europe', the Prime Minister emphasized.
On August 7, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the IMF Director a new financial assistance program aimed at supporting Ukrainians. According to the EU spokesperson, financial support for Ukraine is not planned to be halted.
Ukraine will receive over 3 billion euros in assistance from the EU through the Ukraine Facility. The EU Council voted for the payment, which is indicative of support for reforms in our country and its path towards European integration. The arrival of this assistance will contribute to strengthening the economy and political stability in Ukraine.
