According to Espreso.tv: During a press conference in Paris, Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed an agreement to host the next gathering of the Coalition of the Willing on Ukrainian soil. The announcement followed a meeting that drew 40 participants, including representatives from the nations that signed the declaration establishing the Anti-Ballistic Coalition on July 13. The signatory countries are:
- Ukraine
- Denmark
- France
- Germany
- Italy
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Spain
- Sweden
- United Kingdom
Zelensky underscored the significance of the upcoming event, stating:
“It is important that we have agreed to hold the next Coalition of the Willing meeting in Ukraine.”He also expressed gratitude to Emmanuel Macron for France’s support with air defense systems, adding:
“Thank you, Emmanuel, personally for your readiness to provide licenses. This is a serious step forward, it will help a great deal. The licenses for Aster and SCALP are important decisions.”
During the talks with Zelensky, Macron also revealed that an agreement had been reached on licensed missile production for Ukraine.
This upcoming meeting in Ukraine highlights the critical role of international backing as the country faces ongoing military threats. Collaboration with coalition members is expected to significantly bolster Ukraine’s defensive capabilities and boost its industrial sector through licensed manufacturing of advanced weaponry.
