Ukraine has prepared a position on the mineral resources agreement with the USA, - Sybiga.
Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga reported that Ukraine has already defined its position and view on the mineral resources agreement with the USA. He noted that a negotiation group has already been formed, which will head to Washington to discuss the text of the agreement proposed by the American side.
The main criteria for this agreement are mutual benefit, consideration of the interests of both countries, and compliance with Ukraine's strategy towards European integration. The Minister emphasized that this is a principled position for Ukraine.
A leading law firm will participate in the negotiation process. A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also included in the delegation to Washington. The visit to continue negotiations is scheduled for this week.
