Ukraine has started its own production of 155mm artillery shells, said Oleksandr Kamyshin, adviser to the President of Ukraine. In an interview with Nettavisen, he noted that under his leadership, defense production in Ukraine has doubled and by the end of the year it will triple.
Kamyshin emphasized that an important goal for Ukraine is to establish its own production of 155mm artillery shells. It was previously known that Ukrainian factories are ready to produce ammunition for a million drones which are planned to be transferred to Ukrainian defenders in 2024. The servicemen who operate the howitzer near Vovchansk work around the clock to stop the invasion of Moscow's troops and they have received shells for this purpose.
