Negotiations took place on July 23 in Istanbul, Turkey, between representatives of Ukraine and Russia. As a result, the Ukrainian delegation agreed to cease attacks on infrastructure.
Attacks on infrastructure
After the negotiations, it was revealed that Ukraine had agreed to a ceasefire, including – strikes on critical and civilian infrastructure. It is also worth noting that on July 23, the final third round of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia took place in Istanbul.
In addition, the Ukrainian delegation expressed a proposal to Russia regarding a meeting of the leaders of the two countries.
During the negotiations in Istanbul, the Ukrainian and Russian sides agreed to cease attacks on infrastructure. The Ukrainian delegation also proposed to hold a meeting of the leaders of both countries, which could be an important step towards resolving the conflict.
