Ukraine may be without power outages for three months: details.
According to Yuriy Boyko, Ukraine may go through the next few months with minimal power restrictions. This has become possible due to weather conditions and a decrease in temperature, which has led to an increase in electricity generation in the system. The country is now in relative energy balance. If there are no external influences, the next three months will pass without significant power supply restrictions.
Today, July 30, no power supply restrictions are planned, so no power outages are expected. By October, DTEK company plans to return about 60-70% of the generation lost due to shelling in the spring of this year to operation.
The head of "Ukrenergo" company Volodymyr Kudrytskyi predicts a decrease in power outages during August-October. The electricity deficit in the Ukrainian energy system will gradually decrease if there are no new large-scale shellings.
The National Energy Regulatory Commission plans to change the formation of tariffs for electricity distribution from 2026. They plan to introduce a third voltage class instead of the existing two.
