Ukraine and the USA produced the final version of the agreement: when it will be reviewed.
The Government of Ukraine is considering the agreement on subsoil use with the USA
The Government of Ukraine today, February 26, is reviewing the text of the agreement on subsoil use that Ukraine plans to sign with the USA. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. He noted that the signing will take place after the presidents of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the USA Donald Trump agree on security guarantees. In the presence of the presidents, the government representative will sign this preliminary agreement.
The agreement is called 'Agreement on Establishing the Rules and Conditions of the Investment Fund for the Recovery of Ukraine' and is the final version of the agreement between Ukraine and the USA. The priority for the Ukrainian side is to ensure the security of the country, and neither the president nor the government will consider the agreement separately from security guarantees. The agreement will have legal force and will provide for the establishment of a joint investment fund for the recovery of Ukraine, which both countries will manage and contribute to.
Let us remind you that US President Donald Trump announced meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
