According to ТСН: Ukraine plans to open one of the first offices in Berlin focused on developing cooperation with Germany in the defense industry, particularly in arms export and the implementation of joint production projects.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a business forum in Germany.

"In Berlin, we are preparing one of the first offices that will deal with arms export, joint production projects with your country, with Germany," Zelensky reported.

He also emphasized the importance of Germany as a trade partner for Ukraine.

"Germany is one of our largest trading partners in Europe. And it will remain so in the future. I am confident of this," said Volodymyr Zelensky.

The President stressed the need to attract more companies and contracts from Germany, which is one of the key tasks of the Ukrainian government. According to him, such cooperation will not only strengthen the economies of both countries but also create a foundation for improving interaction within the European Union.

Additionally, Zelensky commented on the progress of negotiations with the American side in Berlin.

During a difficult round of negotiations, the President of Ukraine refused to discuss the possibility of a unilateral withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from the Donetsk region. Kyiv is ready for various compromises, including painful ones, but there are "red lines."

This office in Berlin indicates the activation of cooperation between Ukraine and Germany in the important field of the defense industry. Despite the difficult political situation, President Zelensky is confident that strengthening economic ties between the countries will help ensure stability and security in the region. Additionally, the association with Germany can contribute to greater integration of Ukraine into European structures, which undoubtedly reflects the broad interests of both countries.
