Ukraine strikes Russia with powerful drones: capable of carrying FAB-250.
Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles with FAB-250 bombs, capable of flying up to 2,000 km and carrying up to 250 kg bombs, are successfully used to attack strategic and military targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. The Command of the Unmanned Systems confirms the results of employing these drones, although Russian propaganda claims they have been shot down.
Operators of the Unmanned Systems emphasize that they are able to effectively strike the enemy from a long distance, and their use will only increase in the future.
Analysts believe that if the military can safely return the drones after completing their missions, this drone developed by a Ukrainian team will be an extremely effective weapon. They also consider the use of drones with FAB-250 bombs to impact the enemy's actions on the battlefield.
Moreover, the military notes that fiber-optic drones become immune to electronic countermeasures and drone detection devices. Such aircraft are already actively used by Ukrainian forces, assessing their advantages.
Ukraine is also receiving assistance in purchasing unmanned aerial vehicles from its allies, particularly from Latvia.
