Ukrainians explained who and how can receive a disability pension.
An application for a disability pension can be submitted online on the website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. To do this, you need to log in to your personal account on the PFU electronic services portal using a digital signature and fill out the attributes of the application, attaching scanned copies of the necessary documents.
Necessary documents for obtaining a disability pension:
- Written application for pension appointment.
- Passport or birth certificate (for children), along with a certificate of residence registration if you have an ID passport.
- Registration number of the taxpayer's account (RNOKPP).
- Employment record book or other documents confirming work experience and salary information.
- Documents confirming the special status of the individual (e.g., a certificate from MSEK or an ID certificate for disability due to war).
- Photo for pension certificate processing.
For active military personnel, a certificate of illness issued and confirmed by the military recruitment office at the place of removal of the serviceman from military accounting or a certificate from the military medical commission is also required.
If the disability occurred after discharge from military service, a certificate from the military recruitment office about service and a conclusion from MSEK regarding the connection of disability with service in the army should be attached to the application.
We remind you that basic social payments in Ukraine have been announced at the level of 4500 hryvnias, but there are certain limitations.
