Ukrainians were shown how many men received deferral from mobilization: list of industries.
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine responded to the "hromadske" request regarding the number of men liable for military service with deferrals in various industries. According to the Ministry of Economy, 615 thousand men in Ukraine have a deferral from being drafted into military service due to booking. Most of the bookings are in the energy sector.
As of July 31, according to the orders of the Ministry of Economy, the department has issued 33,782 orders for booking liable men, of which 17,632 are active.
The distribution of booked men in various sectors of the national economy, government bodies, and local self-government is approximately as follows:
- energy sector - 29%;
- industry, manufacturing - 15%;
- transport - 14%;
- agro-industrial complex - 12%;
- medicine - 6%;
- defense-industrial complex - 5%;
- government bodies and other authorities - 4%;
- IT specialists and electronic communications sector - 2%;
- financial, banking sector - 2%;
- trade - 2%;
- local executive authorities and local self-government - 2%;
- others - 7%.
It was previously reported that from August 1, some Ukrainians will not be able to receive deferrals from mobilization.
