The exchange rate will be stable at the beginning of May - expert
The Director of the Department of Financial Markets and Investment Activities of 'Globus Bank', Taras Lesovyy, reported that a stable exchange rate is expected at the beginning of May. He explained that the demand for currency may decrease due to the start of the tax payment season. However, the value of the euro will depend on the global situation and trading with the dollar.
According to the expert's forecasts, the exchange rates in the interbank and cash markets will maintain a range of 41.2-41.6 hryvnias per dollar and 45-48 hryvnias per euro. The difference between the rates will be negligible. The change in the rate over the week will not exceed 1-1.5%.
