Ukrainians Explained the Rules for Using the Winter Support of 6500 Hryvnias.
Explanation of the 'Winter Support' Program
According to inkorr.com: The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, explained how the financial project 'Winter Support' works, which provides payments of 6500 Hryvnias. The program started at the beginning of November and is aimed at supporting the most vulnerable categories of the population.
Who Can Receive Assistance?
One-time financial assistance will be provided to:
- minors;
- persons with disabilities;
- internally displaced persons;
- low-income families;
- pensioners receiving care allowances.
Funds are automatically credited to the Diya Card or a special account. Important: they cannot be withdrawn in cash or transferred to other accounts.
Use of Funds
This assistance can only be spent within 180 days on the purchase of clothing, footwear, and medications. If there are unused funds, they must be returned to the Pension Fund within three working days after the expiration date. Thus, the 'Winter Support' program will become an important resource for Ukrainians during the winter period, but adherence to the established rules and restrictions is mandatory.
This program provides necessary financial support to those who need it most, helping to reduce the negative impacts of the cold season. It is important to note that along with the support, the program also encourages conscious use of funds, highlighting the need for a responsible approach to financial assistance in times of crisis.
