Ukrainians first: Authoritative sports portal named the best boxers of the XXI century.
The sports portal GiveMeSport published a ranking of the best boxers of the XXI century, in which Ukraine is represented by three legendary athletes: Vitali Klitschko, Wladimir Klitschko, and Oleksandr Usyk.
GiveMeSport recognized Wladimir Klitschko as the best heavyweight boxer of the XXI century. Oleksandr Usyk, champion of WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO in heavyweight, took second place. Vitali Klitschko took the fourth position.

Vitali Klitschko ended his career with 45 victories (41 by knockout) and 2 losses. Wladimir Klitschko, the younger brother of Vitali, secured his fame as one of the most successful boxers in history, with 64 victories (53 by knockout) and 5 losses. Oleksandr Usyk, also considered one of the best, has 21 victories (14 by knockout) and no losses.
Usyk and Fury rematch announced
The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will take place on December 21 in Saudi Arabia. This will be the second bout between the two heavyweights following Usyk's victory in May 2024. Currently, bookmakers favor the Ukrainian.
After ending his career, Oleksandr Usyk plans to become the president of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation.
Unfortunately, the boxing world also saw a loss. 25-year-old Ukrainian boxer Arkadiy Kartsan passed away on September 17. He had been in a coma for three days, and his heart stopped. Detailed causes of death are not reported.
