Ukrainians in Poland admitted whether local salaries are enough for them: research results.
Most foreign workers in Poland aspire to earn more money - from 4,000 to 7,000 zlotys. This became known from the report of 'Hvylya', which refers to 'Super Express'.
According to the Grupa Progres study, about 90% of Ukrainians working in Poland earn no more than 5,000 zlotys net. However, over 85% of them wish to earn more - from 4,000 to 7,000 zlotys. Similar expectations exist among other foreign workers in Poland. For example, 45% of Poles do not earn a gross salary of 7,000 zlotys. According to the Main Statistical Office, as of February 2024, there are over 755,800 Ukrainians working in Poland - the largest group of foreign workers.
'Super Express' cites the financial expectations of other foreigners. For instance, 26% of representatives of other nationalities hope to earn between 3,000 and 3,900 zlotys. Uzbekistan and Bangladesh. Additionally, 48% of respondents want to receive between 4,000 and 7,700 zlotys net. Interestingly, 26% expressed a desire to receive a salary higher than 7,700 zlotys.
It is worth noting that the minimum wage in Poland from July 1, 2024, will be 4,300 zlotys gross, which is approximately 3,261.53 zlotys net. The money.pl portal reports that in early April 2024, 90% of Ukrainians working in Poland earned no more than 5,000 zlotys net.
