New Address? Ukrainian Conscripts Must Register for Military Service Within 7 Days.
Military Registration and Residence Updates
According to Novyny.live: Under Ukrainian law, any citizen who changes their place of residence is required to report to the new local military recruitment center within one week of moving. This obligation applies specifically to conscripts, reservists, and those liable for military service. Missing this deadline could create complications for future service obligations, making timely compliance essential.

The rule is designed to keep government databases accurate and up to date, ensuring that military authorities can efficiently manage their obligations regarding eligible citizens.
The Official Registration Process
Beyond military registration, citizens also need to complete a separate administrative process at local service centers (known as TsNAPs). For this step, they have 30 calendar days from the date they deregister at their previous address.

In short, relocating requires individuals to take prompt action in two areas: civilian registration and military record-keeping. Meeting both deadlines is crucial for upholding one’s rights and duties under Ukrainian law, particularly concerning military service and residency status.
This information carries extra weight during wartime, when military registration becomes especially critical. The responsibility for timely compliance falls squarely on each citizen, highlighting the need for a conscientious approach to national security obligations.
