Ukrainians to Be Forced to Return Pensions: Who Will Be Affected.
According to a statement from the press service of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Volyn region, the amount of pension payments depends on various factors, and pensioners need to promptly inform the Pension Fund about any changes in their circumstances. Otherwise, there may be overpayment of pensions, which will lead to the need to return excess funds.
Factors Affecting the Amount of Pension:
- employment or entrepreneurial activity of the pensioner;
- change of job by the pensioner in their specialty;
- change of residence;
- change of status;
- changes in circumstances affecting the type of pension.
Notification of these changes can be done in person at the service center or remotely through the electronic cabinet on the website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. If overpayments occur, they must be returned, as excessive pension payments are subject to return in accordance with the legislation.
It is important to be attentive and timely inform about changes to avoid troubles and debts to the pension institution.
