Strict Security Checks at France's Beauvais Airport

According to Novyny.live: A Ukrainian traveler has recounted a frustrating experience at Beauvais Airport in France, where lengthy queues and rigorous baggage inspections caused major delays. According to the passenger, the screening process can take up to two and a half hours, creating significant inconvenience for those flying out.

Issues with Screening Procedures

Beauvais Airport operates two terminals—one newer and one older. Regardless of which terminal passengers use, border control officers process travelers slowly, leading to extended wait times. The tourist noted:

“I stood in line for baggage inspection for 2.5 hours.”

Because of the prolonged wait, she was forced to purchase a new ticket at a cost of 125 euros.

This incident highlights the challenges travelers face when going through security at Beauvais Airport, underscoring the need for improved safety procedures to ensure a better passenger experience. With tourist traffic increasing, especially during the summer season, the efficiency of security operations is becoming a growing concern. Addressing these issues could enhance the airport's reputation and improve the overall journey for future travelers.
