Ukrainian Firm SkyFall Unveils P1-SUN Jetkiller Interceptor Drone: Key Details Emerge.
Introducing the P1-SUN Jetkiller: A New Interceptor Drone
According to Espreso.tv: At the Farnborough Airshow in the United Kingdom, Ukrainian company SkyFall has unveiled its latest interceptor drone, the P1-SUN Jetkiller. This upgraded model is a faster iteration of its predecessor, which has been in service since late 2025. The new drone can reach speeds of up to 370 km/h, a notable improvement over the original version's maximum of 310 km/h.
For context, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles can achieve speeds of up to 500 km/h. Development of the enhanced P1-SUN Jetkiller began approximately three months ago, and it has already been tested in combat, successfully destroying over a dozen jet-powered 'Shahed' drones.
Mass Production Plans
SkyFall intends to commence serial production of this new interceptor in August. Since the standard P1-SUN model entered service in November 2025, it has taken out more than 5,500 'Shahed' drones. The company's manufacturing capacity currently supports producing up to 50,000 drones per month, underscoring its serious commitment to scaling operations.
The rollout of the P1-SUN Jetkiller highlights Ukraine's ongoing efforts to advance drone technology amid modern military confrontation. The boost in speed and effectiveness could significantly enhance the tactical capabilities of Ukrainian forces. Furthermore, serial production will help meet army demands and strengthen national defense in the face of persistent threats from adversaries.
