Ukrainian Armed Forces Conduct Successful Special Operation: Drones Strike Oil Refinery in Russia.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine conducted a successful special operation behind enemy lines. They sent drones to the enemy's rear and attacked a number of important targets on Russian territory.
Drones Struck the Afipsky Oil Refinery
On the eve of August 7, explosions occurred in the Krasnodar region of Russia. Ukrainian drones targeted facilities related to the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country.
The Afipsky oil refinery in the settlement of Afipskoe in the Siversky district was hit. Following the strike, a fire broke out, which spread to the gas processing and gas condensate processing facility.
The annual capacity of the refinery is 6.25 million tons, which accounts for 2.1% of the total oil processing volume in Russia.
In addition, Ukrainian forces launched several more strikes on important targets within Russia. The results of these operations are currently being assessed.
As a result of the successful special operation, the Ukrainian military struck at the enemy's rear, inflicted damage on important facilities in the Krasnodar region, and took the initiative in the conflict.
