Drone Attacks on Infrastructure in Ukraine

According to Espreso.tv: Drone strikes continue to target infrastructure within Ukraine as well as Russian-held facilities. In the Donetsk region, the Zuyivska Thermal Power Plant in Zuhres was hit, sparking a fire. Additionally, railway infrastructure in Chystiakove came under attack.

In the Crimean settlement of Lenine, the Semykolodyazna oil depot was struck—satellite imagery confirms a fire at the impact site. Explosions were also reported in the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk region.

Strikes on Russian Targets

On the night of June 6, Ukraine’s Defense Forces launched a strike on an oil depot in the Kuban region. Additional attacks were recorded against an oil refinery in Tyumen, the Kronstadt plant, a Russian Navy warehouse near St. Petersburg, and a port in occupied Mariupol. These details were reported by public activist and advisor to the Minister of Defense, Serhiy Sternenko.

“Strikes on critical infrastructure can have strategic significance, as they may undermine the enemy’s logistical capabilities and reduce their ability to conduct combat operations.” - Serhiy Sternenko

These events underscore an intensification of hostilities in eastern Ukraine and temporarily occupied territories, potentially reshaping the broader conflict dynamics. The targeted attacks reflect a sustained effort to contest control over key areas and resources.
