Ukrainian hackers avenged RF for attack on 'Ohmatdyt'.
Ukrainian hackers carried out a cyberattack on Russian network infrastructure in response to the occupiers' missile strike on the capital's children's hospital «Ohmatdyt» on July 8. This was reported by rbc.ua.
As a result of the cyberattack, numerous servers were destroyed, a massive SMS distribution «This is for Ohmatdyt!» was conducted, network equipment, surveillance systems were disabled, and hundreds of terabytes of important data were deleted.
The targets of the cyberattack were the «Regional Clinical Hospital RZD Perm», LLC «FD-Telecom» and LLC VAPK (Volgograd Agro-Industrial Company). In particular, as a result of the operation at LLC «FD-Telecom» 174 virtual and one physical server were destroyed, 51 terabytes of information were deleted, the surveillance system was destroyed, and direct financial damage of 360 thousand rubles was inflicted.
And the cyberattack on the «Regional Clinical Hospital RZD Perm» disabled 70 personal computers of doctors, destroyed file storage, corporate mail, 12 virtual servers, three hypervisors. Network equipment was also disabled: switches, routers, and internal telephony.
On the personal computers of the staff of the attacked facilities, photos of the destruction and injured children during the missile strike on the children's hospital «Ohmatdyt» in Kyiv on July 8 appeared.
Among other things, the hospital's answering machine was hacked: when patients tried to call the medical facility, the answering machine, instead of the standard message, provided truthful information about the criminal actions of the RF leadership and the war crimes of the Russian army.
In addition, at LLC VAPK, as a result of the cyberattack, two computers were encrypted along with data totaling about three terabytes, including acts, invoices, contracts, and accounting documentation.
Let us remind you that at the end of May, hackers of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a massive DDos attack against Russian providers. The latter complained that this cyberattack was «the most powerful in history».
In addition, recently Ukrainian hackers attacked the websites of a number of Russian companies that support the RF war against Ukraine, in particular, helping the occupation troops.
As reported, the Ukrainian IT army carried out a massive attack on the Russian banking system, including the infrastructure of the «National Payment Card System» (NSPC) – the operator of the «Mir» cards.
