International Reach of Ukrainian Broadcasters Expands

According to UATV: Ukraine’s state-run enterprise, the Multimedia Platform for International Broadcasting, has been broadening the international distribution of its TV channels FREEДОМ and “Дім” in Poland. New agreements with Polish telecommunications providers now make these channels available to subscribers of Play (P4 Sp. z o.o.), reinforcing Poland’s role as a key partner for Ukraine in global broadcasting efforts.

Audience Engagement and Content Popularity

Polish viewers have generated nearly 34 million YouTube views for this content. Specifically, FREEДОМ has accumulated over 21.3 million views, with 32.4% originating from Warsaw. Meanwhile, the “Дім” channel has drawn more than 12.5 million views, 26.2% of which also came from Warsaw. These numbers highlight a strong appetite for Ukrainian programming among Polish audiences.

The Multimedia Platform for International Broadcasting has also launched a Polish-language YouTube channel, UATV po polsku, which has already surpassed 2.7 million views. Play offers over 200 TV channels and supports HD and 4K resolution, enhancing the viewing experience for its users.

These channels are available via satellite, international OTT platforms, and cable television, ensuring broad access to Ukrainian content for viewers across Poland.

Expanding the distribution of Ukrainian TV channels in Poland marks a significant step in strengthening information ties between the two nations, especially amid ongoing international support for Ukraine. The growing popularity of Ukrainian content among Polish audiences reflects the successful integration of Ukrainian culture and media into neighboring countries, which could help foster deeper bilateral relations.
