According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian volleyball players impressed with their results at the European Beach Volleyball Championship in Italy. In the competition among U-18 pairs, the team composed of Yegor Skrypnichenko and Andriy Lunkan won the silver medal. After intense matches in the group and playoffs, they only lost to representatives from Germany.
Achievements at the Youth Olympic Festival
At the European Youth Olympic Festival, the Ukrainian team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, achieving 10th place in the overall medal tally. The most successful sport was judo, but medals were also won by representatives of other sports.
