Targeting Key Russian Occupier Assets

According to Novyny.live: On June 29 and overnight into June 30, 2023, Ukrainian forces launched strikes on critical Russian occupier infrastructure, including bridges and the 'Slavyansky' oil refinery. These operations destroyed several strategic enemy targets, marking a significant escalation in Ukraine's campaign to disrupt Russian military logistics.

Among the primary targets hit were a road bridge near Azov in the Zaporizhzhia region and a railway bridge in temporarily occupied Crimea, close to the settlement of Ichki. Additionally, Ukrainian strikes took out enemy drone control centers located in the following areas:

  • Vesela Lopan
  • Komar
  • Myrne
  • Luhove
  • Skelyky

A Russian command and observation post near Staromlynivka in the Donetsk region was also eliminated.

Assault on the 'Slavyansky' Oil Refinery

Another major blow came on June 28, 2023, with an attack on the 'Slavyansky' oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Preliminary reports confirm the destruction of four storage tanks with a combined capacity of 35,000 cubic meters, along with damage to nine additional tanks totaling 30,000 cubic meters in capacity.

These strikes are part of Ukraine's broader strategy to degrade enemy military resources and infrastructure, which could substantially alter the conflict's dynamics. By destroying key transport links like bridges, Ukraine complicates Russian troop logistics and mobility, potentially shifting the balance of power on the battlefield.

Ukraine continues to systematically target high-value Russian assets, aiming to cripple supply chains and command capabilities essential for enemy operations at the front.
