Microbusiness Grant Initiative for the Bohodukhiv Community
According to Novyny.live: The Ukrainian Red Cross has opened applications for a grant program designed to support food sector microbusinesses in the Bohodukhiv community of Kharkiv Oblast. Applications will be accepted until February 22, 2026. This initiative is a crucial part of broader economic recovery efforts in regions affected by the ongoing conflict. Successful applicants will receive grants of 145,390 Ukrainian hryvnias, equivalent to over $3,300 USD.
The program is being implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with support from the French Red Cross. Similar grant assistance is also available in other communities within Kharkiv Oblast, such as Barvinkivska, where grant amounts range from $778 to $2,895.
Eligibility and Grant Conditions
To qualify, applicants must be motivated individuals or sole proprietors with the genuine capacity to run a business. They must live and operate their business within the Bohodukhiv community. Applicants must confirm they have not received similar assistance exceeding $1,000 from other organizations within the past year. Additionally, they need to demonstrate the ability to develop and submit a business plan and complete required training.
