Ukrenergo has introduced a new electricity shutdown schedule with two queues until 23:00.
Ukraine continues to restrict electricity consumption
According to NEC 'Ukrenergo', on December 3, Ukrainian household and industrial consumers continue to adhere to restrictions on electricity consumption. For household consumers, shutdowns will be conducted in two queues from 08:00 to 23:00, and from 23:00 to 24:00 - in one queue. Industry and business will also operate under power restriction schedules from 06:00 to 22:00.
Increased electricity consumption
As of 6:00 AM, electricity consumption has already exceeded the level of the previous working day by 3.3%, according to energy specialists. The daily maximum electricity consumption on December 2 was 6% higher than on November 29, due to a reduction in the volume of restrictions.
Attack on energy facilities in Ternopil region
Last night, there was another drone attack, resulting in damage to an energy facility in the Ternopil region. Fortunately, almost all consumers in the region already have electricity supply.
Planned electricity imports
Throughout the day, electricity imports are planned from five countries, namely: Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova. The import volume amounts to 8,343 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 837 MW during certain hours.
