Shipping Costs Are Going Up: Ukrposhta and Nova Poshta Announce New Rates.
Postal Service Price Changes in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: Starting June 2026, Ukraine’s two largest postal operators—Ukrposhta and Nova Poshta—are rolling out updated pricing for their delivery services. The new fees will be determined by either the weight or the volume of each parcel, a shift that may influence which service customers choose. Both companies serve millions of users across the country, making these adjustments significant for households and businesses alike.
Nova Poshta’s New Pricing
Nova Poshta has set its delivery rates as follows:
- Documents weighing up to 1 kg: 80 hryvnias;
- Parcels up to 2 kg: 90 hryvnias;
- Parcels up to 10 kg: 135 hryvnias;
- Parcels up to 30 kg: 200 hryvnias.
Customers should also factor in an additional fee for packaging, which ranges from 15 to 80 hryvnias depending on the box size. If a parcel is sent to a rural branch, the cost may increase by another 30 hryvnias.
Ukrposhta’s New Pricing
Ukrposhta, meanwhile, is basing its charges on parcel volume:
- Shipments up to 1,500 cubic cm: 50 hryvnias;
- Up to 4,000 cubic cm: 55 hryvnias;
- Up to 8,000 cubic cm: 80 hryvnias;
- Up to 20,000 cubic cm: 85 hryvnias;
- Up to 80,000 cubic cm: 140 hryvnias;
- Up to 120,000 cubic cm: 150 hryvnias.
For those needing faster service, a 'Priority' option is available for an extra 10 hryvnias.
It is worth noting that Ukrposhta plans to expand its network by adding over a thousand new pickup points by the end of the year. These rate updates, combined with the network growth, could affect service quality and the accessibility of postal services for the public.
The revised postal rates in Ukraine are likely to reshape consumer choices, as the new fees vary sharply by weight and volume. This may prompt users to compare offers from different companies, potentially intensifying competition in the market. Ukrposhta’s network expansion also aims to improve service availability, a key factor for customers, especially those in rural areas.
