Starting from September 2024, Ukrainians will be able to receive new passports and other documents abroad thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Ukrposhta, Ukrposhta announced on August 21, 2024.
To receive the documents, the following steps must be taken:
- The document will be produced in Ukraine.
- Payment for the service will be made in the electronic cabinet on the Ukrposhta website.
- Ukrposhta will deliver the document to the Ukrainian diplomatic establishment in the country of the order.
The service will cost 6 USD plus 10 UAH VAT, which is significantly cheaper than current prices (from 70 to 100+ dollars depending on the country).
At the initial stage, documents can only be picked up at a diplomatic establishment due to the need for double verification in accordance with Ukrainian legislation. In the future, delivery to the recipient's address is planned.
