Ukrzaliznytsia Launches Revamped Portal to Track Train Delays.
Upgrades to the 'UZ Vezemo' Portal
According to Novyny.live: In response to widespread train delays caused by power supply issues and severe weather, Ukrzaliznytsia has rolled out a major update to its 'UZ Vezemo' passenger portal. The overhaul is designed to provide travelers with more convenient access to real-time delay information. These infrastructure challenges are a persistent issue for Ukraine's state railway, which operates under demanding conditions.
The updated portal now features a search function and a train status tracker. While the estimated departure and arrival times provided are approximate, they offer passengers a better basis for planning their journeys. Notably, alongside these digital improvements, Ukrzaliznytsia has also initiated its first 'Food Train' service in the Kyiv region, where staff distributed 9,107 hot meals over a day and a half.
Enhancing Passenger Service
These measures are aimed at improving customer service and passenger comfort during travel disruptions caused by delays.
The portal update represents a significant step in strengthening communication between Ukrzaliznytsia and its customers, particularly during stressful travel interruptions. The launch of the Food Train further highlights the company's efforts to provide direct support to people affected by natural disasters and other crises impacting transport infrastructure. Together, these initiatives are intended to build public trust and improve the overall experience of using the railway's services.
