Ukrzaliznytsia Gains Access to Military Systems: Evacuations Now Only Triggered by Real Danger.
Security Conditions and Passenger Evacuations
According to Novyny.live: Ukrzaliznytsia now actively monitors the security situation through direct access to military airspace control systems. This integration ensures that passenger evacuations are only carried out when there is a genuine threat to life. According to Serhiy Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Minister of Defense, this collaboration between the railway operator and the military has already helped save passengers aboard several hundred trains.
Beskrestnov emphasized that in the event of a threat—such as a drone attack—it is critical for passengers to follow safety protocols.
'If a Shahed drone strikes a car full of people, it will become a mass grave. That is why I urge passengers to move at least one hundred meters away from the train.' – Serhiy Beskrestnov
Ukrzaliznytsia’s Safety Measures
In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia has decided to remove alcohol from Intercity+ trains as part of broader efforts to enhance passenger safety. These actions reflect the company’s commitment to providing secure travel conditions and responding swiftly to emerging threats.
This initiative is part of Ukraine’s wider infrastructure push to improve safety amid the ongoing war. With the rising use of drones and other military technologies, it is essential that all travelers understand potential risks and follow safety guidelines. The ban on alcohol in trains also highlights efforts to maintain order and ensure passenger security during these challenging times.
