Ukrzaliznytsia changes rules for transporting dogs on trains: what is now required.
According to inkorr.com: The company 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is making changes to the rules for transporting pets. From now on, large dogs can travel in all types of carriages, but for this, they must have a ticket, a muzzle, a leash, and a veterinary document. In the compartment and sleeping cars of the 'Lux' class, as well as in international 'RIC' cars, it is necessary to purchase all seats for animals. In high-speed Intercity+ trains, all seats in one row must also be purchased.
Small animals can be transported in special carriers, and in this case, there is no need to buy an entire row of seats. Moreover, passengers traveling with guide dogs, service dogs, or military personnel can take their four-legged friends for free. A separate fee is charged for transporting live animals in passenger carriages.
Summary
With the new rules for transporting animals, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is improving comfort and safety for pet owners during their travels. These changes create convenient conditions not only for passengers but also for their four-legged friends while traveling across Ukraine.
