Ukrzaliznytsia Announces Rail Service Disruptions
According to Novyny.live: Due to shelling and security concerns, Ukrzaliznytsia has been forced to alter train services for February 22, replacing some routes with buses. This is a necessary adaptation to the current volatile conditions affecting the country's transportation network.
Regional Service Updates
In the Sumy region, service remains stable but limited, with regional trains continuing to operate to and from Konotop. However, in Kharkiv Oblast, train service on the Lozova — Barvinkove — Kramatorsk route is suspended. Passengers must now travel by bus from Lozova to Kramatorsk.
Furthermore, train No. 101/102 from Barvinkove to Kherson will await a transfer connection from Kramatorsk, highlighting the required coordination between transport modes. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, travel between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia is also primarily organized via buses, reflecting the ongoing operational adjustments.
Ukrzaliznytsia warns passengers of potential further schedule changes and urges vigilance while traveling. The situation remains fluid, and travelers should be prepared for unexpected disruptions.
Amidst the armed conflict and security threats, these alterations to train movements demonstrate the infrastructure's adaptation to the profound challenges facing the nation.
Ukrzaliznytsia
Ukrzaliznytsia continues its efforts to maintain transport services while prioritizing passenger safety. Given the dynamic environment, it is crucial for passengers to monitor updates closely and plan their journeys with potential schedule changes in mind.
