Ukrzaliznytsia Announces Rail Service Adjustments for February 18.
Ukrzaliznytsia Adjusts Train Schedules
According to Novyny.live: On February 18, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state railway operator, announced modifications to its train services due to security conditions in certain regions. These adjustments are part of the ongoing effort to maintain transport links while prioritizing passenger safety during the conflict. Train services in the Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts continue to operate normally, indicating relative stability in these areas. However, services on the Lozova — Barvinkove — Kramatorsk route have been temporarily suspended.
Despite heightened security concerns, regional express trains to and from Izium are running on schedule. This provides vital connectivity for residents, allowing movement between settlements even as difficulties arise in neighboring regions.
Current Train Schedules
Services toward Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro continue to operate according to the established timetable, including the following trains:
- No. 86/85 Lviv — Zaporizhzhia — Lviv
- No. 5/6 Yasinya — Zaporizhzhia
- No. 39/40 Solotvyno — Zaporizhzhia — Solotvyno
- No. 731/732 Kyiv — Zaporizhzhia — Kyiv
- No. 128/127 Lviv — Zaporizhzhia — Lviv
This schedule allows passengers to plan their journeys with greater certainty amid the fluid situation.
Ukrzaliznytsia has also requested that passengers email any delayed train tickets to [email protected] for assistance. This measure is intended to help resolve travel-related issues promptly. Passengers are advised to remain attentive to schedule changes and follow all carrier recommendations.
These rail service adjustments are significant against the backdrop of the current security situation in Ukraine, which is a consequence of ongoing military actions. — Ukrzaliznytsia
The situation remains dynamic, and passengers are strongly recommended to monitor official updates from the carrier to avoid inconvenience during their travels.
