Sweden will increase funding for Ukrainian drones
Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, stated that Sweden will increase funding for the Ukrainian production of long-range drones based on the 'Danish model'. This will allow Ukraine to enhance its defense capabilities and increase the trust of allies in the military-industrial potential of the country.
Additionally, the defense ministers discussed funding plans to assist Ukraine in 2025. Both countries are working to expand support and consider the real needs of Ukrainian defenders. The main focus is on equipping Ukrainian brigades.
Umerov expressed his gratitude to Sweden for the support provided, which helps achieve victory.
Furthermore, a meeting in the Northern Group-Ukraine format took place in Denmark, where plans for 2025 and urgent needs of Ukraine were discussed. President Volodymyr Zelensky noted an increase in the supply of weapons and military assistance from Western allies.
