According to Novyny.live: The Ukrainian government has designated 18 new companies in the road transport sector as 'enterprises of critical importance to the national economy,' while confirming the status for nine others. This designation, based on criteria established by the Ministry of Development's Order No. 50 dated January 16, 2025, aims to bolster transport infrastructure and enhance the industry's operational efficiency. Such a list is often used to prioritize support and resources for essential businesses.
As of February 13, 2026, a total of 776 business entities have been granted 'critical' status within the transport sector. This growing number underscores the increasing economic importance of road transport companies and their contribution to national infrastructure development.
