The Government of Italy approved further military assistance to Ukraine.

The Government of Italy on December 23 adopted a law containing 'urgent provisions for the extension of permission' for the transfer of necessary weapons to Ukraine. This was reported by Ansa.

«The government approved the extension of permission for the supply of weapons to Ukraine», – the statement says.

The government approved a decree that contains 'urgent provisions for the extension of permission for the transfer of military vehicles, materials, and equipment to the state authorities of Ukraine'.

It is also indicated that next July Italy will hold a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine.
