According to UATV: Multiple people were wounded and at least one person was killed in drone attacks carried out by Russian forces across Kherson and the Zaporizhzhia region. In Kherson, five individuals sustained injuries from a drone strike, including a child. In the Dnipro district, a 72-year-old woman suffered a mine-blast injury, an open leg fracture, and wounds to her abdomen and face. Meanwhile, in the Korabelny district, a 66-year-old woman was diagnosed with a closed head injury after being caught in the attack.

Zaporizhzhia and Odesa Under Fire

Strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region resulted in one death and two injuries, with a child among the wounded. The Russian military launched 851 attacks across 51 settlements in the area, leading to more than 60 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, and vehicles.

Separately, a missile strike targeted the Odesa region, damaging the hull of the cargo ship Venturo. One civilian crew member was killed, but Ukrainian sailors successfully evacuated the other 17 crew members. These events highlight the ongoing aggression by Russia and its devastating impact on civilians in Ukraine.

These attacks underscore the relentless nature of hostilities in Ukraine, particularly in the south, where ordinary people frequently bear the brunt of the violence.

The rising number of civilian casualties and injuries raises serious concerns about safety in regions experiencing active combat. The situation calls for a stronger international response and continued support for Ukraine in defending its territorial integrity and protecting its people.
