The Government of Ukraine adopted a resolution to provide additional financial support to citizens who use solid fuel for heating homes.
According to resolution No. 1169 from October 15, 2024, the program provides support for households that do not receive centralized heating and do not use gas or electricity for heating.
Funding will be provided through partners and the state budget.
Mechanism for obtaining aid:
- Households that are already receiving housing subsidies or benefits in 2024 will receive recalculations automatically.
- New applicants can contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine through PFU service centers, centers for administrative services, executive bodies of local self-government, or use electronic services with a qualified electronic signature.
Important: The amount of support is calculated individually for each household, taking into account the cost of solid fuel.
Payments will be made by the end of December 2024, and the amount of aid will be calculated as the difference between the new subsidy amount and the already paid aid in 2024.
