The government approved new rules for the gambling business: what will change for organizers.
New gambling licensing rules
According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian government has approved new licensing rules in the gambling sector. From now on, licenses will be issued by the State Agency PlayCity, which is an important step in restoring legal licensing.
Main requirements
Among the new requirements are the presence of an impeccable business reputation and the absence of links to the aggressor state for individuals involved in organizing gambling. It is also planned to implement responsible gaming mechanisms and expand the technical capabilities of the online monitoring system that will monitor players' actions.
Ensuring control
The State Tax Service will have direct access to this system to monitor the financial indicators of gambling organizers. The government aims to create a civilized gambling market and attract significant revenues to the budget, which, in turn, will strengthen the country's defense capability.
These innovations are intended to improve control over gambling in Ukraine, ensure market transparency, and reduce risks associated with this type of activity. It is expected that the introduced mechanisms will help exclude unreliable players and protect consumer interests.
