The government extended the stable electricity tariff until 2026: all the details

According to inkorr.com: The Government of Ukraine has extended the special obligations for universal service (PSO) for electricity until April 30, 2026. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

This decision will ensure a stable electricity tariff for the population at the level of 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour during the heating season. For those who use electric heating, a preferential tariff system is provided, where the price per kilowatt-hour will be 2.64 hryvnias for households consuming up to 2000 kilowatt-hours per month. If consumption exceeds this limit, the standard tariff of 4.32 hryvnias will apply.

This decision is aimed at reducing the financial burden on families during the winter period and supporting citizens during the heating season.

This step by the government is significant amid rising energy costs, as ensuring stable tariffs will help many Ukrainians preserve their budgets during the difficult winter period. It is expected that due to these initiatives, Ukrainians will find it easier to cope with the cold and keep warm in their homes.
