Changes in the National List of Medicines
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved new changes to the National List of Medicines used for state procurement and reimbursement. The update focuses on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, endocrine issues, and mental health.The improved list includes modern medications for the therapy of arterial hypertension and heart failure. These drugs help reduce blood pressure, lessen the burden on the heart, and decrease the risk of heart attacks. Additionally, the list has been supplemented with means for treating dyslipidemia, fungal infections, as well as medications related to endocrinology and mental health. This is intended to simplify patient access to necessary treatment.These changes could significantly improve the quality of medical care for Ukrainians who require modern medications.
