The government is creating a headquarters to protect communication during blackouts: how it will work

According to inkorr.com: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to establish a coordination headquarters to ensure the uninterrupted operation of communication networks. The main goal of this headquarters is to coordinate the efforts of central and local authorities, communication operators, and other agencies in case of risks or power outages. The headquarters will also analyze the situation and provide recommendations directly to the Cabinet of Ministers.

Composition of the coordination headquarters

Representatives of mobile communication operators, ministries, and security services are already involved in the new coordination headquarters. This will be an important step in preparing for possible situations related to unforeseen power outages and will ensure the resilience of communication.

Mobile stations with backup power

Another important initiative is the deployment of additional mobile stations with backup power, which has been confirmed during high-level meetings. This is a positive step to increase the reliability of the communication infrastructure in case of unforeseen circumstances.

The establishment of the coordination headquarters and the implementation of mobile stations with backup power indicate the seriousness of the state's intentions to ensure communication stability in difficult conditions. These measures can significantly assist in maintaining communication during crises, which, in turn, is an important aspect of national security.
