Audit of State-Owned Enterprises in the Energy Sector: What Decisions Has the Government Made.
Audit of State-Owned Enterprises in the Energy Sector
According to inkorr.com: Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has initiated a comprehensive audit of state-owned enterprises in the energy sector due to the critical situation with electricity supply. Among the decisions made are the resignation of several ministers, sanctions imposed on individuals connected to the NABU case, and the dismissal of the leadership of 'Energoatom'.
Evaluation of Procurement and Repair Works
As part of the audit, it is planned to evaluate procurement and analyze the functioning of supervisory boards. Svyrydenko emphasized that despite the shelling by Russian troops, repair works at energy facilities are not ceasing, and restrictions on electricity supply are gradually decreasing.
Restoration of Damaged Facilities
Funding allocated for addressing the consequences of missile strikes will ensure the restoration of damaged facilities in nine regions. It includes the construction of shelters, protection of equipment at energy facilities, carrying out emergency rescue operations, and other measures to improve the situation in the energy sector.
The audit of state-owned enterprises is an important step for stabilizing the energy sector in Ukraine. In this situation, where the country is dealing with the consequences of a prolonged war, effective resource management and the restoration of damaged infrastructure are becoming extremely relevant. We hope that the proposed measures will contribute to the improvement of electricity supply and stability in the energy sector.
