Uzbekistan to Punish for Quadrobing.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan announced that children and adolescents engaged in quadrobing will be punished with fines for non-fulfillment of parental duties. According to the administrative code, parents can receive a fine of up to 1,875,000 soms ($144).
The Ministry consulted experts who warn about the negative impact of quadrobing on the mental health of adolescents, which can lead to aggressive behavior and social isolation. They reminded parents that they are responsible for raising their children in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the country.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan reported that fans of quadrobing have appeared in Tashkent, and there have even been recorded violations of rights on this basis. For example, on October 11, one quadrober, claiming to be a dog, attacked a person, causing fear to a small child who was nearby.
The Ministry stated that such behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Experts believe that quadrobing can lead to a child imitating the aggressive behavior of animals, injuring themselves and others, and may cause psychological problems in an undeveloped child, as well as their isolation from society.
The Ministry also reported that special psychological examinations of children will be conducted to determine how quadrobing affects the mental and emotional state of the child.
