According to ТСН: As of January 8, Russian occupiers' losses in the war against Ukraine have reached 1,215,900. Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed another 1,400 occupiers.

Estimated total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 08.01.26:

  • personnel - about 1,215,900 (+1,400)

  • armored fighting vehicles - 23,874 (+9)

  • artillery systems - 35,874 (+17)

  • MLRS - 1,596 (+1)

It was previously reported that the occupiers are trying to break through to the village of Gryshyne in the Donetsk region to cut off logistics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are supporting operations in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
